The kingdom of Kemet is in upheaval. With the countless transformations carried out by Pharaoh Akhenaten, the old gods were left aside, giving way to the central cult of a single deity – the solar disk, Aten.
With the pharaoh's death, however, Kemet's fate falls into the hands of his son, little Tutankhaten. Now, the young pharaoh will have to make a difficult choice: discard his father's legacy or defy the countless forces that want to remove him from the most powerful post in the world.
The Boy King is a sweeping visual journey through Ancient Egypt. Mixing history, mythology and imagination, Felipe Pan, Olavo Costa and Mariane Gusmão travel through the whirlwind of events that marked the 18th Egyptian dynasty in an extremely rich and profound narrative – perfect for celebrating the centenary of the discovery of the tomb of the protagonist of its story: the mysterious pharaoh Tutankhamun.
